Our core aim is to revive and sustain the Gurukul System of Education in a modern format, blending the eternal values of the Vedas and with the academic rigor of the CBSE Curriculum and the demands of a rapidly advancing technological world.

Academic Excellence

At Navaprabhat Vidyayatana, we blend the timeless wisdom of Vedic education with modern CBSE curriculum standards. Our academic approach focuses on holistic development, ensuring students excel not only in examinations but also in character building, critical thinking, and practical application of knowledge.

Examination Pattern

At Navaprabhat Vidyayatana, we follow a continuous and comprehensive evaluation system aligned with CBSE norms, while ensuring that assessments support the overall growth of students — intellectually, morally, and spiritually.

Our examination pattern is designed to regularly monitor student progress and prepare them for academic excellence with consistency and discipline.

Unit Tests (2 per year)
  • Conducted twice a year to assess understanding of topics covered in class.
  • Help in identifying learning gaps and strengthening foundational knowledge.
Term Examinations (2 per year)
  • Term I (Half-Yearly) – conducted in the middle of the academic session.
  • Term II (Annual) – conducted at the end of the session.
  • Comprehensive evaluation based on syllabus covered in each term.
Class Tests
  • Short assessments conducted after the completion of every chapter or concept.
  • Encourage regular study habits and reinforce day-to-day learning.
  • Teachers may also conduct surprise tests or oral quizzes for real-time understanding.
Additional Features :
  • Marks and feedback are shared with parents regularly through report cards and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Emphasis is placed on value-based questions, application-oriented learning, and concept clarity.
  • Students are also assessed in co-scholastic areas such as Yoga, Music, Computer, Moral Education, and Discipline.

This examination system helps develop academic excellence, time management, and exam readiness, while staying true to the school's core values of Vedic learning and moral development.
